Summit

The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism will host three Summits per year on topics related to combatting systemic racism and dismantling barriers for Black Canadians in the workplace. To date The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism has organized and delivered two Summits. Both were held online via video-conferencing due to health orders in place related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Future Summits may take place either in person, at an event space in Toronto, Ontario, online via video-conferencing, or by some combination of both.
It is not the Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism’s goal to engage in political activism; rather, by organizing and delivering the Summit we seek to continue to uphold human rights by showcasing the work of individuals and organizations in combatting and preventing systemic racism. The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism invites presenters to the Summit whose work challenges domestic human rights policies that run contrary to international human rights law.
To date the Summits have been offered to the public at no cost. In the future, The Canadian Council of Business Leaders Against Anti-Black Systemic Racism may charge attendees a fee to attend the Summits, the fee will be set on a cost recovery basis.
